According to the prestigious newspaper ‘The Times’, Mbappé has told PSG of his intention to leave the club in the summer of 2021.
Real Madrid, of course, will be on the lookout, but other big clubs such as City or even Barca will want him. There will be a transfer saga.
According to ‘The Times, the French forward has already told the Parisian club that his intention is to embark on a new adventure in the summer of 2021, i.e, once the 20-21 season that has already started in France finishes.
Mbappé’s intention would be to not catch the board by surprise and to pave the way for his departure to be less complicated, in addition to having enough time for PSG to sit down and negotiate with the clubs that want the French attacker.
Mbappé’s contract ends on 30th June 2022, so he will bring forward his exit and PSG could get some good financial compensation because the Frenchman isn’t going to cost anything cheap and his price is close to 100 million euros.
With this information, Real Madrid are opening their eyes. Los Blancos are one of the teams that are on the list of possible destinations for Mbappé. In fact, Real Madrid have never been in a rush to sign the forward and in the middle of a crisis decided to delay their move for the Frenchman until 2021, so that the times coincide between the intention of Madrid and the player.
However, Madrid will have to compete, most certainly, with other big European teams like Manchester City, Manchester United, or even Barcelona. Mbappé, in any case, has already reportedly taken the first step.
